Miller Eye Center has expanded its team with the addition of Dr. Peter Gunther. He is board certified in medical optometry by the American Board of Optometry, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry. He is a 21-year veteran of the United States Navy, where his career as Optometrist in the Medical Service Corps was distinguished with privileges at military hospitals and treatment centers around the world and, most recently, the rank of Commander. In addition, Dr. Gunther has held academic positions at several schools and colleges of optometry and published numerous papers on the treatment and management of ocular disease.

“It’s exciting to join the area’s leading center for eye care, and to be part of a team that’s at the forefront of the latest treatments and technologies,” says Dr. Gunther. “Miller Eye Center gives me the opportunity to help more patients treat and manage their ocular disease as well as dry eye, two areas where I have a particular interest.”
